I met up with Karen/Chiu-Q - we had some dumplings for lunch and walked around the shopping district by Taipei 101.
of course a picture with the celloish looking instrument =)
my dad's books on the shelf!
I was planning on buying a dress/skirt to wear to my cousin's wedding… but it was kind of a failed trip - especially since the prices were all in NT Dollars and it kept taking me a minute to convert to US dollars… I fail. I need to shop somewhere more in my price range too haha.
Afterwards, we went to Karen's VILLA haha. Her family has a nice house!! A dog named Lucky who likes to bite my hand, and a birdie that Karen's dad found in his flower garden one day! It's so cute!
*pet pet* aww...
their bird! I don't remember a name..?
I went to eat some douhua with her and her parents, and even had some stinky tofu [臭豆腐] PU. Haha. Yumm~
busy street where lots of stinky tofu and other foods were being sold
After we got back, we then proceeded to play some Raving Rabbits and Super Mario Galaxy on her Wii xD. We also watched this Broadway show called "Into the Woods" I've never heard of it? It's pretty funny though - it's a mixture of a bunch of fairytales.
April 5th, 2010
Monday morning was ZOO TIME AGAIN! Yay =). Before that however, we walked around the area, played some drums and said hello to Ronald McDonald.
I look so professional...
why did I take this photo?
The Taipei Zoo is huge, like 5 times the size of the Hsinchu Zoo I went to earlier in the year.
hmmm... where to go....
We only got to see the PANDA,
a WHOLE panda gift shop!!!
and swinging around
and the "cute animals area" [可愛動物園] lol.
feeding the goat some greens... is this allowed?
yay Taipei Zoo!
We went to eat hotpot afterwards - the shape of the pot was a little different than the ones I had before, but still equally good =). GASP I forgot pictures!!!! Noo!! Then, back to school we went! I found out I had homework due the next day and the day after that -__-. What a nice welcome back present. Sigh.
