line to keep from sliding down the hill
clover....
so skilled.
alex loves baseball =O
...??
focused on the game
I think we just scored a run
there were some migrating birds passing by... and by some I meant a lot
Taiwan's organized cheering team
the dog also wanted to watch the game =) btw. there are a LOT of stray dogs in Taiwan fyi
and we won!!
Right afterwards, we went to grab some snacks and then went straight to the basketball [籃球] game. The thing about some of these indoor games is that you could get tickets beforehand the week before, or on the day of the game. If you want to get a ticket the week before, you have to go wait in line starting from 7:50am (which is when I went) or else you would not be able to get a ticket at 12:30pm. I don't think I would be able to do that again haha. The day of is even worse. People go and wait at 11am maybe for a 6pm game. I'm amazed at what people do to watch these games. It was pretty exciting though. The girls team won by almost twenty points!
hardcore cheerers
start!
loud clapping and waving of things when our team makes a shot
the cheering squad (NTHU's purple) takes up a fifth of the audience
NTHU's panda mascot!
she makes a shot!
I have never seen that many cheerleaders before
pirates of the caribbean I believe
Unfortunately the guys lost. Sadness.
start!
me and Chiu-Q
"kill the frog!" the school uses a pun with NTHU's name Tsing-Hua: it sounds like tsing-wa/青蛙 (frog). So we need to hit the frog [打青蛙]
I then spent lots of time updating my blog after I got back to my dorm.
